After School's Scandal Shows Idols Fans Aren't Shit

Nevertheless, though this matter does seem somewhat small, I want to take light to it because it actually should be taken into account more in the future. Something similar to this, the incident with Lee Jong Suk, an upcoming top star, happened just in March of this year, in which he simply ignored a fan who waited for hours with hopes to give her sole reason a present but he ignored her and pushed her away. Now with this incident happening, it even furthers illuminates the harsh reality for us fans that:
1) Idols are making money off of us.
2) Idols are starting to realize they are making money off of us.
3) Idols are starting to realize that the majority of us are delusional but are still a source of money.
4) Idols are becoming more cocky being that they are rich and we are ever-growingly poor (due to them) and are starting/already have began losing the care they once had for us in the beginning when they weren't as rich or known because they have grown into the mentality that we are the reason for their fat wallets.
But gladly, with this new incident, rather than the Lee Jong Suk one where people kind of just brushed it off, this one is starting to show idols that, hey, you can't treat people, especially people who make your wallets as big as they are, like crap. Fans are people, too and have feelings more matter how delusional. Even the craziest fans can turn their backs on you in an instant the second you do something wrong therefore, you must treat the people who are putting the food on your table with respect. Furthermore, it saddens me that there has not been more talk about this issue. No, not just bashing on After School, but the more in general, scheme of things. Even if we sit behind a computer screen all day looking at videos of you, they do have to realize that it is their job to not only sing, dance and act, but also to gain/withhold as many fans as you can in order to let you continue singing, dancing and acting because they make you rich.
Why has that not been implemented in idols' minds already?
That's the real question.

Web-Surfing: An American Boys Over Flowers?
Boys Over Flowers, one of the most well known and influential dramas in the Kpop industry may possibly be remade in America sometime soon. On June 25th, Wazego Collective posted a kickstarter page, hoping to raise enough funds to properly launch the project. They have until July 15th to reach their goal amount and if they are successful, Wazego plans on airing the series on their Roku channel later in the year.
As you may already know, Boys Over Flowers is based off of a popular manga series titled Hana Yori Dango. It has been seen in a number of drama remakes such as the Japanese drama under the same title and the Taiwanese version, Meteor Garden. Each remake has managed to incorporate the core story while managing to add their own respective cultural flavors to keep it interesting without rehashing the same thing over and over again.
So what does that mean if we Americanize the story? Here is a list of some theories I have:
◊ The female and male protagonist will be overly sexualized. Of course, this isn't always the case with American shows but it's a highly common occurrence to see shows filled with heavy sexual undertones.
◊ The series will be darker and more serious. American media sometimes has a hard time mixing drama with comedy without leaning heavily towards one side or the other. I'm not placing any heavy bets on this being the case but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that way.
◊ Integral parts of the story will be left out or changed. We all know that when it comes to remakes in America, the stories are almost always warped to favor a more unique plot line or to spice things up. Don't expect the main plot to stick closely to the original story.
Wazego have stated that they have already written up the script and promise to stay as close to the original plot as possible but should we actually believe them?
How SE7EN Screwed Up His Career and His Relationship
Just yesterday, SE7EN, Sangchu and other celebrity soldiers caught themselves in quite the pickle, getting caught visiting a 'happy ending' massage parlor (if you don't know, you get laid after the massage!) while not only still on duty, but SE7EN, still in the 11-year relationship with Park Han Byul which he claimed he would be so damn scared if he was caught with another girl while dating her (oh, the irony).
So the story falls out like this, four celebrity soldiers including Rain (who fucked up his career from his military service, too) and KCM (nugu?) were in their motel until around 10PM, then left to go eat BBQ chicken and get drunk. In around an hour 30 minutes, they went back to the motel with their cellphones in hand while the two, SE7EN and Sangchu, went to a happy ending massage parlor afterwards. Later,
The pair came out half an hour later, and when the reporters approached them for an interview, they snatched the mic away and twisted their arms. Undeterred, the reporter asked, “You were just at a massage parlor. It’s currently 4AM, and you came to perform as a soldier. You were just at a massage parlor. Can you comment on this?”. The two tried to snatch and destroy the camera, but when that failed, they said, “We did not commit a crime. We didn’t do anything illegal.”
The reporter asked, “Do you usually drink and go to massage parlors while you perform?”, and they said, “We didn’t drink alcohol at all. We should talk later”, even though they were filmed drinking beer and soju. The pair then left back to the motel in a taxi.
The reporter entered the massage parlor and noted that the parlor did not let anyone under 19 inside. The reporter asked the manager and the manager revealed, “They asked things like, ‘When can we get serviced?’, and I told them ‘Not right now’. I refunded them 170,000 KRW (approximately $147 USD).” The manager added, “No one comes to get just a massage. They come for what you’re thinking.
What's funny is that the manager doesn't even give a fuck about SE7EN's career, throwing him under the bus without hesitation by stating the completely obvious:
“No one comes [to the parlor] to get just a massage. They come for what you’re thinking.”

I don't even know the worst part about this: the two guys as well as hundreds of other celebrity soldiers enlist to the military and hype it up like it's the end of the world (*cough* Leeteuk), then get to use their cell phones, go out at night, and of course, get laid, while the thousands of other non-celebrity Korean men unjustly can't use their cell phones, can't go out at night, and of course, can't get laid... or that SE7EN cheated Park Han Byul by going to a massage parlor--the sleaziest, most stupid and probably not even that satisfying of a way of fucking up his relationship with that goddess. Either way, SE7EN obviously didn't end up with the 'happy ending' he was looking for.
