My Views: English Demo of "I Got a Boy" entitled "Shiner On You" = Worse English Version of a song ever? Yes or Yes?

Watch the English demo of I Got a Boy entitled Shiner on You here:

Composed by Katy Tiz (aka who?), I was hoping for something a little less shitty, being that the 9 girls might be putting this up for their English comeback album... however, my hopes certainly went to waste. This English version is no doubt worse than the original "I Got a Boy", the lyrics making even less sense than the "I Got a Boy" lyrics.

I’m a bully, yo kid, target, I wanna pull the trigger, that pooka say you should run run run run (Yeah, Yeah)
(Uh~) I know you wanna tell you, wanna jiber, You can’t touch me! You can’t touch me!
Shout it, pipens, I speed at Bigby’s, try to rub upon it, Oh no you didn’t!
(Ah~) I’m about to have kittens so, You just test me! You just test me!

In addition to this, this composition of useless jargon, talking about money on one end

It’s my world, it’s my turn, I’m the million you’re never gonna earn
So go to the other bank, I’ll be a donor, I’ll be the CEO! I’ll be the owner!

Talking about how they're inhuman obviously, being that they're about the have "kittens"
I’m about to have kittens so

Then repeating the same, confusing and pointless line over and over again
I put a shiner on ya, I put a shiner on ya, I put a shine, put a shine, put a shine on ya

makes me hope that Girls' Generation doesn't include with this track (or at least substitutes Katy Tiz's lyrics with something idiotic) in their English album.
Meanwhile, the only positive side about the English demo is that at least the vocals are better than the original.

What do you think about "Shiner on You" by Katy Tiz? Like it better than the original? Hate it? Share your opinions on the comment section below.

New Rookie Youai releases digital "I Got a Boy"; SONEs freak the fuck out

On January 6th, Rookie Youai released "I Got a Boy". Listen to the not even similar to the Girls' Generation "I Got a Boy" track below:

It seems as if basically half the population of the SONEs who have heard the news that their precious unnirs supposedly got their song stolen, they were all quick to jump without even giving thought to the song creating process. Obviously, rookie Youai and her company had the whole song planned out as well as the song title from weeks to months before so this old-styled song shouldn't even be counted as act of copying... in fact, I bet she's as surprised as all of us are as of now and shouldn't be taking much blame for the supposed duplication of Girls' Generation's shitty track.

Additionally, it even seems like the allkpop staff members are also biased SONEs, hinting it by saying:
"not to be confused in any way by that OTHER song of the same name."
and
However, is “I Got A Boy” distinct enough to distinguish itself amongst all the other heavy hitters promoting (or expected to promote) right now?

Oh really, allkpop? Way to be subtle!

I think the funny thing is that when Girls' Generation copies or purchases full and not produced by SM Entertainment songs, *cough* Dancing Queen, Run Devil Run, Baby Steps and many more *cough* no one gives a shit. However, when someone doesn't even copy the song and instead, just simply has the same song title, it has to be an issue.
Obviously, our unnirs are working so hard and are so sad that an irrelevant nobody is debuting with the same song. Oh? They're not? Well according to one SONE on Youtube they are!

Exactly. I agree with you! That's why SNSD has many other songs with similar song titles like Bad Girl, Beautiful Stranger... even Gee!

In conclusion, I think this whole ordeal is just silly. In full honesty, I wouldn't care if someone took a song title because it happens all the time... but the rookie singer is getting bashed to infinity for something that wasn't even intended. I wish the best for rookie Youai being that there's only one time to make a first impression, and obviously, she didn't do so hot on this one.

Media: Girls Generation teaser pictures for "I Got a Boy" Comeback

Recently, SM Entertainment just released the teaser photos for Girls' Generation's much anticipated comeback, I Got a Boy... and after looking at all of them, I have to say with full honesty, they are just hideous.

Seohyun was the shocking teaser photo of all. Being that Seohyun is the maknae and even follows the persona of "Angel" and "Seobaby", her coming out with shorts that barely cover up her crotch when has rarely done that before was astonishing. I also can't make out the purpose what that idiotic pink thing resembling a jacket she's holding.

Taeyeon is probably second in line for most hideous, after Sunny. Her hair seems to be the one that G-Dragon wore in which everyone hated in the Monster music video. She looks like a little Dutch/Russian who got lost in the woods... the fur hanging on the wall proving my point. The denim jacket without visible pants doesn't even match her either. This is just all kinds of wrong.

Sunny's is the worst teaser out of them all. She looks like a pre-pubescent however overgrown little boy who was lost by his mom in Psycho City... the unicorn is just unable explainable as is. Her outfit and hair is just all kinds of wrong, the hideous colors not even salvaging the horrible tragedy that happened to her.

Jessica looks like HyunA 2.0... her borrowing HyunA's push-up bra and weird colored clothing. Her Mickey Mouse jacket as well as the chair that looks like it was puked on shows to me that she had a wild and irreversible night last night.

Yoona actually is probably my favorite... the colors in the picture actually complimenting her. Her colored-lenses are an iffy for me, I don't like them however I don't hate them, but her outfit is definitely a no-go.

Tiffany would look amazing if it wasn't for the Girls' Generation stylist being biased to short and ugly hair. I honestly don't know what the stylist was trying to do when they put the wig on... it ruined her completely. Her outfit isn't that bad... yet, I also don't get the pink jacket she's wearing and her corset.

Yuri looks somewhat decent... but I would bet my life-savings that she is either drunk, high or constipated judging by the look on her face. The what seems to be a red jacket on her shoulders is just unneeded and necessary, her jewelry looks like SM Entertainment ran out of ideas and money therefore ran to the 99 cent store and bought anything they could. I don't know if that's hair or feathers on her left, but it looks stupid.

Though Hyoyeon's is all kinds of crazy, I still enjoy it. Her hair color actually suits her and her push-up bra isn't as redundant as Jessica's. I still have to note the huge horse in the back is just stupid.

Sooyoung is my favorite after Yoona, the colors actually showing correlation (in which the other teasers do not) and it not having random elements like unicorns, puke-filled chairs and horses to accompany her. However, I don't like looking at her in shorts that barely cover her vajayjay, ripped tights and a bra. And her facial expression is an iffy-iffy for me, I can't say I love it however I can't say I hate it.

And last but not least, the group photo. Tiffany looks like 2NE1's Park Bom... her hair not suiting her at all. Hyoyeon's facial expression is just hard to look at and barely bearable, Taeyeon's whole existence not even bearable at all. Seohyun looks like she got lost while smoking weed and Jessica just looks out of place... Yoona, Sooyoung and Yuri being the only decent ones in the whole picture and salvaging the rest of the group from what seems to be the unknown consequence of smoking marijuana.

In conclusion, I liked only 4 and a half of the 10 teasers (Tiffany's hair is the only reason I don't like her teaser) and I'm honestly not looking forward for the rest of the images they are releasing. I dislike how they're ruining the image of Girls' Generation and I hope after this comeback, SM Entertainment realizes the wrong they have did and gradually goes back to at least Hoot/Run Devil Run days. Though many SONEs will eat up basically anything SM Entertainment throws out at them and will disagree with the accusations that Girls' Generation is slowly maturing however in a negative way, it can be inferred that (being that Gee and Tell Me Your Wish was unarguably SNSD's peak in their career), they will slowly however surely reach the same fate that 1st generation idol groups have faced as well as Super Junior is facing right now. Disbandment. Especially now after witnessing the negative reactions from SONEs after The Boys, if Girls' Generation actually is preparing to finally cross-over to the "dark side" they (SONEs and Girls' Generation themselves) should be prepared for it.

Also, R.I.P unicorn.

What are your thoughts and opinions of the teasers?

Review: SNSD's Comeback - I Got a Boy Teaser/Dancing Queen MV

Watch the pre-release video here:

After 13 months, Girls' Generation finally released a Korean music video, entitled "Dancing Queen" and are planning to release the full length album "I Got a Boy" on the 1st of January, 2013.
Starting out with my thoughts on the video “Dancing Queen”, I have to say that I was disappointed more than usual (with their consistent box style videos and their haphazard songs) with this pre-release music video and track. The song was just a cover of Duffy's 2008 released song, Mercy, meaning there is truly no new content to become familiar to and jam to. Not only that, this video was simply one that SM Entertainment salvaged and recycled from the year 2008, without any real effort
except for the 20 seconds in the beginning in which Girls Generation did nothing but huddle around a out-of-date mp3 player. This video lacked the effort and the amazement in which I’m pretty sure the vast majority of people anticipating this comeback for more than a year expected. The dance wasn’t spectacular and the singing wasn’t even comparable to the original or even Lee Hi’s mesmerizing cover of the song. The language as well as the meaning to the song was also changed, making it sound odd due to my accustomation to the original “Mercy”. And to be bluntly honest, this is probably my least favorite comeback of all the Girls’ Generation comebacks.

In addition to the video, I have to note the whole “I Got a Boy” album, releasing on January 1st, 2013, might just be a huge let-me-down. Rumored by some people, there will be total of 10 songs found in the album in which all 10 will be covers to other legendary songs (1 for each of the 9 members as well as the group cover “Dancing Queen”). If this is rumor turns out to be true, I don’t know about you, but I’m really not looking forward to the majority of Girls Generation members who can barely utter a note without sounding like a dying hyena ruining a good song whilst the minority (TaeTiSeo specifically) who sound somewhat tolerable however, still make the song sound like shit.

I have to say, the only plus to this whole comeback was the teaser for the album. The teaser concept and tune was enjoyable as well as Sooyoung's and Tiffany's alluring English throughout the 25 seconds. I also have to take note in Sunny's hat reading the words "Welcome Motherfckers" in large letters as well as Hyoyeon and Yuri's new, however shockingly (as we all know and can't deny the "accidents"that occurred to Sunny the past few months) cool hairstyles.

To conclude, this comeback is simply a disappointment and in my opinion, not something to continue anticipate. SM Entertainment already showed with the video “Dancing Queen”, that this will be nothing but half-assing (which is nothing new, considering we’re talking about SM Entertainment) and as we all are well aware of, the singing in the majority of the album will be below expectations as well as the originality of the music they are singing to. However, on the positive side, the girls look great in the teaser for the album and seem to be moving farther and farther with every comeback, Korean and Japan alike, from the Girls Generation” title with edginess and sexiness to satisfy.
