Alongside the primary holding company, KT Music, SM Entertainment is said to be promoting the new group 'Say Yes' as if they were one of their own artists. Apparently, the group will be debuting on July 26th with their 'global' mini-album and promoting title track 'Feel Good'. Their track-list goes as shows:

01 느낌이 좋아 (Feel Good) | 02 Virus | 03 그대이길 바래요 (I hope it's You) | 04 말하지마 (Don't Speak) | 05 Outro(cr: BOSUKii)

Lastly, as you can all see, Say Yes is rumored to be a boy band with a guy on the far right who looks strangely like EXO-M's Tao (am I the only one who sees it?) and the guy in the middle looking a bit like Sehun.

-

To be honest, if this rumor is true, I'm not sure if I'm excited, terrified or unconcerned about the debut of a new boy band--excitedly, it's a new boy band!, terrified, EXO barely even has enough footing?, why is SM having another group to worry about, unconcerned, who the hell gives? If they weren't associated with SM Entertainment, we all know no one would.
And although, SM Entertainment isn't the primary holding agency, it seems like they're still going to have a huge role in the five men's careers and futures with their promotion tactics (which I must say--if EXO isn't that popular in Korea with SM's promotion, what says Say Yes will be any different?).

What do you think of the boy group? Do you want to Say Yes or Say No? Comment below!

  1. What..... kind of a name is that O_____o

  2. It's SM entertainment, so I'm almost 100% sure that their debut will be at least somewhat successfully, SM just has way too much influence in the music industry.

  3. It appears they are trying to market them as more "serious" musicians by giving them instruments. Maybe if they didn't have that stereotypical boy band hair it would be an easier sell.

  4. Don't question it... just Say Yes

    (that was a horrible joke.)

  5. Well, to be honest:

Many international fans which have more interest in newbie groups like K-Pop more than K-Rock so... they might have a little trouble with that.
Not to mention, even EXO is pretty unknown in Korea with SM's promotion and supposed 'influence'... kinda hard to say Say Yes's future based on that.

  6. Ew. Staying 100km away from them just because of that name tbh. Yes I'm shallow like that.

Unless these kids can work shit up like how FT Island do, I'm not even going to take them seriously. What, bands now? Even CN Blue doesn't work with me.

  7. OK I don't know how to feel about this.... is this gonna be a good thing or a bad thing? Only time can tell...

  8. In the picture I would say they look like a more rock-ish group?
If that's the case, then I would turn into a fan (if it isn't all too cheesy... like EXO's Wolf, yet I still like EXO but not a hardcore fan). But if they become big, that's the biggest question.

  12. Thanks for the correction--I'm not a huge fan of EXO, to be honest, but I do know a lot of their faces... just not what group they're in xD

  15. First, I've seen their debut on MCountdown before I knew they were promoted by SM and I love them. Second, I don't think they look anything like the EXO boys but rather the lead singer looks more like Kim HyunJoong and Jung Yonghwa had a baby... Lastly, EXO has plenty of footing in Korea or they never would have been able to win a music show which they've done multiple times... EXO will be fine even with promos for a new band. They're a band, it's different, and maybe with this other boy *bands* in Korea who deserve more attention (FT Island, CN Blue, LEDApple, etc.) will finally get the recognition they deserve...

  16. 'I've seen their debut on MCountdown before I knew they were promoted by SM and I love them'
This post was targeted for the time period before their debut :).

'I don't think they look anything like the EXO boys' - a matter of opinion? I saw poteyto, you could say potawto. I truly do think that guy looks like Tao and one of my friends told me the middle dude looked like Sehun and after another look at him, I actually saw some similarities.

'EXO has plenty of footing in Korea or they never would have been able to win a music show which they've done multiple times'
Not exactly. They have fans, yes, but overall popularity? Like, damn, they just released 2 albums and every EXOtic is acting like they're famous as fuck. In Korea, they're honestly mostly popular to teeny-boppers and aren't renowned like sunbae groups SNSD, SuJu, etc... just like pretty much any other rookie artist. In fact, many people aren't really familiar with EXO.

'They're a band, it's different, and maybe with this other boy *bands* in Korea who deserve more attention(FT Island, CN Blue, LEDApple, etc.) will finally get the recognition they deserve'

^Wut? Most of the groups you listed are extremely popular in Korea and tbqh, it doesn't make much sense to use one group to make ANOTHER group popular.

  18. Is this really a SM group? Cause I´m a subscriber to SM youtube account and there's nothing of them, and that´s weird cause Sm always promotes good their groups..

Ps: "EXO isn't that popular in Korea with SM's promotion" Well I´m not so sure but I think that the last thing I heard of them was that they broke a record selling 740.000 copies of their album XOXO and they´re the group with most sasaeng fans in Korea, I don´t live in Korea but that seems pretty popular for me.
