A.KOR's Kemy Disses Park Bom

So as you all should know by now if you have been following the site long enough, 2NE1's Park Bom is my ultimate bias as well as Girls' Generation's Tiffany. Regardless of the plasticity of their faces and their worsening singing techniques, I'm still attracted to them in a way that you can coin as a 'girl crush'. So as you can guess, I was kind of shocked when I saw the news blowing up that a rookie group member went to such levels to diss my fave. So shocked that I decided to replace the HyunA's Red and HA:TFELT's Ain't Nobody review (if you're wondering, they were both good songs, in my opinion) to type the shit out of this. If you haven't listened to the track below, you can definitely do so now:

Your bloated, swollen face.
You’re not satisfied no matter what you put in it.
You’re going to become an old person next to an ugly child
You drag your entire body and slap it onto your face
You’re at the point of addiction, “STOP IT!”
X? O? The answer is X, toxic.
Someone call the doctor, someone stop her.
You’re about the same as the Gangnam Beauty [who got plastic surgery 28 times]
You’re weak, and you fell into drugs.
Did the drugs fall into the jelly box?
Who glanced over the 4 pills that disappeared?
Since when were the prosecutors so nice?
The Samsung employee had 29 pills, and was detained at the detention center
You had 82 pills, and why are you innocent? They’re super cool.
The ambassador of the Ministry of Justice? You had a very fitting role, huh?
You took the title of the first smuggling-dol, huh? Amphetamine sh*t.
The articles were taken down so well. YG is no joke.
Try to cover up the sky with your palm. You just got your case suspended??
It must be nice for your fans to cover you up.
I’m jealous that your CEO writes a novel for you.
You set fire on your Roommate friends, and they must feel chaotic, because the corn exploded
You’ll hide behind your influential label and then come back when it gets quiet
Radio Star or Healing Camp, or anywhere. There won’t be a blow to you, huh?
YG, mental breakdown, your fans, mental breakdown.
How do you have time to go to Japan? Hurry and come back, come back home
No one else can be a smuggling-dol without you, can’t nobody.
Listen to this and clap your hands, let’s go party
YG, mental breakdown, your fans, mental breakdown.
How do you have time to go to Japan? Hurry and come back, come back home
No one else can be a smuggling-dol without you, can’t nobody.
Listen to this and clap your hands, let’s go party NOW

First things first: she's actually not that bad at rapping. In fact, she's pretty good. Second, different from what numerous media outlets say... or at least, don't say, A.KOR's Kemy released this track to Soundcloud to participate in a supposed rap competition. Whether she did this rap for publicity/attention or not is still up in the air. For all we know, someone could have found her rap which she wished to keep only between the rap competition and herself, realized it was from a rookie group and then uploaded it to YouTube as well as showed a bunch of people who in turn got the news out.

When listening to this track, I immediately heard a substitution for 2NE1's CL's famous intro to their debut track Fire and my jaw dropped to the incorporation of the someone who well, isn't even Park Bom, to prove her point. Likewise, later in the rap she even incorporated EXO and their brilliant song Overdose for a reason I'm even more confused about.

I don't want to be the kind of person who jumps at A.KOR's Kemy's throat however, I don't entirely want to defend her. I feel like, even though I'm utterly in love with Park Bom, if she actually did not use this rap for attention, I have nothing to really be angered about. Why? Because I'm so used to netizens, national as well as international netizens like on Netizenbuzz who claim they're above others when in fact, are the exact same, say the exact same things about Park Bom constantly yet try to cover it up with "I'm looking out for Bom" or "she needs help" when there's no genuine concern. (Yes, I fucking said it.) Not to mention, it's malicious, yes, but if she was using this incorporation for what I believe it to be so, it's none of my business.

What I found funny is how defenders of the rap say that this is just a 'blowing off steam' kind of thing. Even if she was blowing off steam, why on earth would Park Bom's plastic surgery be something to be so angered about/stressed about that she just had to rap about it? The 'blowing off steam' ploy is nothing but the same hypocritical imbeciles "looking out for Bom by insulting her to her own death (I would not be surprised if Park Bom is suicidal at this point)" looking for excuses for more insults to go away unnoticed.

As you can probably tell, the thing that really disgusted me is her need to not only insult Park Bom's face but to also insult YG Entertainment's promotion of 2NE1 as a whole in Japan. So what they made a Japanese version of Come Back Home? Regardless of the controversy surround Bom, there's no need to bring the whole group down because they want to make money just like every single other idol in the business, including herself. It's a known fact that Japan rakes in the most money and if 2NE1 and the agency feels the need to go to Japan, why is this so much of a concern to the rapper that she has to call Park Bom to come back to Korea in which she's receiving a shit storm of hate?

The drug scandal bit, if anything, was the most understandable piece to put however, there should have been different wording because realistically, there's just parts of it that really could have been less... malicious? Calling Park Bom weak in that piece definitely was the biggest thing in my opinion. I'm almost positive that Bom has already listened to this track if even the coordi could talk about it. We all know for a fact that Park Bom is not in the state for this bull shit (cue the hypocritical netizens "looking out for her") but is it really necessary to note that? Like, even if this is to be some sort of rapping diss battle, the insult of making fun of someone's mental state is the lowest of the fucking low and well, disgusting.
joins idol group to become famous;
doesn't know how to get fame the
right way
Though, A.KOR's Kemy definitely has to be a Blackjack, her impeccable incorporation of 2NE1 songs, the knowledge that 2NE1 has even ventured to Japan and released a Japanese version of Come Back Home, being a fan of the show Bom previously appeared in as well as something that is known mostly only in the Park Bom fan community that she loves corn, some of this is just a bit... off. There should have been different wording, especially to replace the incorporation of people who's not even Park Bom or even apart of YG Entertainment and to definitely change calling the star weak and making fun of her unstable mental state (funny how the rap is called 'Do The Right Thing' when she's doing all of the wrong things). Again, whether or not this was for fame, I honestly do not know, however, for the most part, I'm literally just being wary about this issue and looking forward for more updates. Bom can't necessarily fight back in this battle unless she takes years worth of rapping lessons in .05 seconds... therefore, I'm waiting for just something to keep this going. It's entertaining, actually... and I'm waiting for more. Am I a terrible person for desiring this? Probably.

What are your thoughts with the rap diss? Stay classy, guys. Calling out full fandoms is not a good representation because this is clearly simply between A.KOR's Kemy and all the people she summoned through her rap. Likewise, death threats from fandoms are as low as the track.

Let's Get Down to Business: Bom's Drug Scandal

I was initially going to title this: Dispatch is the #1 News Source: Bom is Not a Druggie, and even had a whole article written, ready to be published a few hours ago, however with new speculation about this whole Park Bom drug scandal coming up, I had to change my original rant about... well, everything.

For those of you who haven't been following this blog for long, 2NE1's Park Bom was, is and will always be my ultimate bias alongside Girls' Generation's Tiffany. Maybe I'm just a legs and thighs person (but no buscuits!!) or maybe I'm just a lover of all singers who kind of sound like they have a dick in their nose but still, I am deeply in love with these girls and when I found out that Park Bom was in a scandal, and not just a scandal but one about her abusing drugs, I have to admit, my heart rate soared and I started having uncontrollable flatulence.

But for those of you who also have not followed this blog for long, regardless of who my bias is, I will tell my unbiased, truthful opinions surrounding a scandal and am not a delusional fangirl, therefore, won't jump the 'THIS BITCH IS B-DRUGGIN' nor the 'PARK BOM IS INNOCENT' wagon just yet. To everyone else who is still shitting themselves defending either or side, here's probably the only friggin' fact that is circulating the Internet around this whole scandal.

So please, feel free to stand up from your computer chair, stretch a little, do a little EXO Overdose dance then take a huge, long seat.

For the people jumping at YG Entertainment at this, you have to be among the funniest comments I read on the Internet. What? A company lied and is trying to make their artists' image, an artist who is still racking up money for the company, as crystal clear as possible by making lies and excuses? This is a first in all of entertainment company history!

Regina is just as shocked as I am

Not really. It's a company's job to save an artists' ass. Why? Because without the artists' crystal clear image, they would not even be the kind of money-makers they are now. Of course, there are usually some bruises or hits to their record but for the most part, with a good company not only giving the entertainer discipline as well as excuses whenever they screw up, a performer can sustain years and years of being in the limelight. Though, I usually wouldn't encourage lying, I just feel like it's understandable for them to do so. However, after reading over Yang Hyun Suk's official statement to the press regarding this scandal, I honestly did feel a little bit bad. People are going ape-shit about the part where YHS stated:

...from what I have seen in the 9 years watching over 2NE1, they do not smoke, drink much, or go clubbing for reasons besides official events

but for fuck's fucking sake, exaggeration isn't going to kill anyone. Pull the actual, meaningful stuff from the long ass message he read to the press. Likewise, most media outlets do not even add this part into the YG Entertainment statement because it's irrelevant as hell! It's like people are literally fishing for something even a little bit bad to have severe diarrhea over. Enough for once.

Likewise, the Dispatch article seems clear to me. All this speculation that Dispatch is being paid by YG Entertainment could be true (or just a rumor for people who want to see a bad ending to this scandal) however, with:

1) Park Bom was never actually even charged with actual reason behind it rather than giving her celebrity treatment
2) The prosecution giving a damn good reason as to why she was not charged and people shitting themselves that this practice is deemed illegal (their rules are selling the drugs to people unprescribed it) however, because it isn't for illegal purposes it becomes a loophole (think medical marijuana)
3) The apparent thing going around that when you catch a celebrity in a crime, you get a raise and all this money bonus stuff so legal teams actually strive to put celebrities behind bars

to me, I really don't think there's much... wrong? I mean, the biggest question to ask is:

Why is this even coming up four years past the date?

Nevertheless, there's a lot of things popping up with this. People are questioning Park Bom's actual age, through Segyo Ilbo, a popular Korean news source along with Dispatch, in which people obviously fail at math because even if you do the math, Park Bom would still be 30 years old in American age since the school mentioned how Bom was 14 in 1998,

Slaying K-Netizens who can't even do simply addition and subtraction since 2014

people wondering if Bom actually did know if the drugs were illegal in South Korea (this one is tricky, we can only use this by word of mouth, to be honest) and people wondering if she really did use the drugs for depression or just for weight loss (I honestly would say that truthfully, she probably used them for depression as I wouldn't doubt that she is/was depressed and either:

a) possibly found out they also came with weight loss
b) labelled them as weight loss pills to not freak out her grandmother with depression pills
c) the news about the pills being as true about the news about Park Bom being approximately five years older than she actually is

However, we will never know the full truth as with every scandal. With the lack of use of pills as stated by prosecution, Park Bom clearly could not have been using the pills for things like getting high or whatnot therefore, the only thing left to question is her personal health. I probably will do an individual post surrounding Park Bom's mental state especially with this news (I wanted to do so prior to this but never found the evidence, now it's here!) and can only tell you guys to stay tuned, stay posted and stay seated if you're planning to shit yourselves on either/or side.

In conclusion, Park Bom may or may not be completely innocent however, what I can take from this?

1) She wasn't actually druggin' (over-consuming the pills; she obviously took them)
2) There's a problem with her health (whether it's mentally or physically)
3) This is just petty news

Hopefully, the people who made fun of Bom for the past few years would quit it because she actually, to me for a long time, seemed to be a sensitive person. She may laugh or not actually admit it, but she probably does get sad at everything that is thrown at her as every single idol. We never know what's going on in the interior regardless of how the exterior acts. Maybe instead of idols reflecting, we should reflect at how low we are. How hypocritical we are. How insane we are. After we take a moment to vote on the polls below and comment.

Park Bom's Drug Scandal. Innocent or Naw?

End of the Era: Girls' Generation ft. Taeyeon & Baekhyun

Girls' Generation has gotten themselves into a whole bunch of dating rumors this year however, this one gave them their biggest blow yet. Despite all the little 'ranters' guessing that Jessica or Yuri will be the next one in Girls' Generation to come out with dating news, it was actually Girls' Generation's leader, Taeyeon, who we all thought would, if she did end up to be dating, come out with it gracefully... as she is the leader, after all. But alas! She did not! And as we all probably should know by now, her relationship with EXO-K boy, Baekhyun, gave both groups a painful blow, fans feeling betrayed (as usual) but also the general public being sickened by the lovebirds' actions, similar to INFINITE's Myungsoo casual but painful use of Twitter to communicate with his then girlfriend. Regardless, both groups are popular however, Taeyeon's group has been around for nearly a decade when Baekhyun's has been for only around three years yet with both sides getting the hate, I want to decode the reasons why people are viewing this one differently than the other Girls' Generation dating scandals.

1. This scandal busted Taeyeon's act

Remember the post I did a few months ago about how I was scared for Taeyeon's well being? She seemed like she was about to crack at any moment! On all kinds of Girls' Generation appearances, Taeyeon did not seem like her usual idol self... which is seemingly nothing different than the rest of Girls' Generation's recent behaviors as they are now starting to realize that no matter what they do, they have a group of fans who will be with them (read the article about how idols should not treat fans like crap for some reference) therefore, different from back in their debut days, they now give bored, gloomy and tiredsome faces. However, Taeyeon's was different, as she constantly complained about loneliness, making people sympathize the fact that idols were not supposed to date. But, just like Sooyoung how literally the day before her own dating news came out, she complained about how she was lonely in response to YoonA's dating news, fans felt kind of betrayed that they were fooled into thinking that she did not have a significant other and that she was getting depressed because she did not have a significant other. I mean, I actually feel a bit betrayed, too, because I usually don't even show empathy but I did for Taeyeon's case and I'm not even a Taeyeon fan!

2. Taeyeon acted immaturely being the fact that she is the senior & Baekhyun betrayed his already betrayed group

Despite the first one being my own sentiments, this one seems to be more of the general public's feels as they believe that Taeyeon should have acted more 'maturely' for her age being that she's ten years into the music business while he's barely even touching his second. She should have taken into account that EXO is just rising in popularity and that they are still in the midst of a scandal in which people were sympathizing Baehyun for. ¿¡Why would Baekhyun, during the midst of the Krisis (Kris vs. SM Entertainment scandal), even think about doing stuff that is remotely human?! Why would Baekhyun go out and do the naughty with Taeyeon when he should be remorseful in his dorm as the public is sympathizing him and his other ten group mates and should take advantage of the situation to get more popularity and fans (this one is actually a serious question)? And why the hell make it so. damn. obvious? Taeyeon should have acted different instead of making it so obvious, different from the other girls, being that she's the leader and should be the most responsible. Taeyeon should have realized that Baekhyun's group is in a situation right now that should not have scandals towards the remaining members of the group and realize that Baekhyun is a rising star. Baekhyun should have realized that the lie about being '35 years old before dating' really hurt gullible fans being that he was the first in EXO to have such a scandal. No one was really expecting him to wait till 35 but he was the first so it put a bigger blow.

3. They messed with their fans

Taking this all from Netizenbuzz, long story short, fans feel betrayed. Instagram, by Taeyeon's definition, was a way to communicate with fans. But instead, she fooled fans and communicated with Baekhyun in numerous posts as did Baekhyun. Fans dug out a lot of places where they communicated/made their relationship obvious (summarized from the same Netizenbuzz article. The astericked ones are ones that I'm somewhat iffy about correlating to dating):

a) Baekhyun and Taeyeon's similar Instagram IDs.
Baekhyun had put on his Instagram, ExO, not EXO like the others. Why? E and O in English look like the first letters of the first syllables of Taeyeon's name ㅌ and ㅇ in Korean. Because he naughty, naughty.

"I like you. Can I like you?"

b) Taeyeon's ruthless post about liking Baekhyun/being in a relationship with him.
She put that fugly doll in the picture as a distraction/excuse. She's asking if she can like him because she realizes they're both celebrities and this going to the public can ruin them both.

c) The trip for my dreams, Pikachu!
Long story short, after Kris left the group, fans made the slogan 'This is the beginning' to give the guys strength. He put the picture on Instagram of the slogan as well as, as translated by the same Netizenbuzz article, 'This is the beginning! For my dream! The trip for my dreams! Pikachu! This is the beginning!'. Fans were gullible into thinking this was starting a new and the guys found strength but in actuality, before, Taeyeon wrote 'This is my beginning now for my dream~ The trip for my dreams pikachu'. aka they dun fucked

d) Baekhyun posted 'Euri'.
Taeyeon later posted 'Very eurieurie shikye drink! Euri #Euri'. If you don't know, Euri doesn't mean shit in Korean but it must be an inside joke for the two.

You're eating sugary snacks?! You're betraying us!
e) Taeng kyung very mang ching*
Okay, I don't really understand this one that much/correlate it with the scandal. Taeyeon received a special made Starbucks cup from her fans. For saying thanks, she said 'Taeng kyung very mang ching'. Everyone is blowing shit up since Taenggo is her nickname for fans and Baekyung is his therefore, she must be making a couple name.

f) The famous oreos*
Taeyeon posted, a day before the news, oreos. Baek means black and Hyun means white in Korean. Oreos for Baekhyun, by fans point of view... or maybe Taeyeon was just hungry for oreos.

g) Birthday se--flowers
On Baekhyun's birthday, Taeyeon posted birthday flowers as well as a heart.

h) They went to see Seohyun's musical.
Suho saw Seohyun's musical the day before, but apparently being that Taeyeon was going, Suho went again the next day with Taeyeon in clutch.

i) Taeyeon posted a picture of light.*
Taeyeon posted a picture of light when she went to the beauty salon on Instagram. We all know Baekhyun's power in EXO is light. MUST BE A CODE FOR BAEK DICK.

j) Kyahing
Kyahing means nothing, just a cute thing for Taeyeon to say to fans. However, Baekhyun was seen using Kyahing when talking to his fans on EXO's 2 year anniversary.

Though there are other more subtle reasons (fans just mad cause they're dating), these seem to be the most prominent. People are getting testy with the Taeyon and Baekhyun kissing picture (apparently, Hyori mentioned that when pictures go out to the public and the company admits to the dating, that means there are pictures far worse than revealed to the public. This has to be one of the most 'sexual' images for a idol dater to reveal... a kissing image... therefore, if they are kissing in a car and if Hyori's claim is true, who knows what more they could have done in that hot and steamy Benz?), people are feeling betrayed just because they don't like idols dating... all in all, a bunch of negativity for the two, people were also getting mad because with all the dating controversy in Girls' Generation, they felt like Taeyeon was the last source of singleness that they had left (since apparently, they don't want Seohyun, Yuri, Sunny or Jessica). And although I would be happy and all for the two dating, there's something inside me that actually understands were the betrayed people are coming from (probably because I feel a bit betrayed, too).

Likewise, I just want to bring light on my old articles that I wrote when Tiffany's dating scandal was revealed, asking if Girls' Generation is on decline as well as my hypothesis for Girls' Generation's future and how long it would take for them to disband/who would still be famous post-disbandment. Now that this scandal broke out what do you think? Is Girls' Generation on decline and how long do they have left? Comment below and don't forget to vote!

Girls' Generation on Decline. How Long do They Have Left?

KARA Project: Are They Reaching Their End?

KARA. A group which has been most known for their previous (but not initial) member line-up consisting of Gyuri, Hara, Jiyoung, Seungyeon and Nicole have basically been torn apart with the leave of their rapper and their youngest. They have been under DSP Media since their debut in 2007 with the lesser-known song, Break It, and reached their height with Mister in 2009 which topped charts and basically gave the girls their national popularity.

However, every group has to fall from their height, and though some can argue that they were already gradually decreasing post-Mister era, we can all agree that they have reached their rock bottom with the member change, as noted above, Nicole and Jiyoung saying their 'goodbye's early from the group and leaving KARA as three instead of their powerful five.

With what some call the money-hungry company shadowing the five after their split in half, they have had their eyes on repairing the group and replacing the two lost with two gained, starting a reality show entitled, the KARA Project, for eager fans to shit themselves watching and voting on who really is eligible out of the seven candidates to be in KARA. And though this follows YG Entertainment's Who Is Next? program in order to decide which group to choose to debut--Team A or Team B (none of them debuted--this is a closer and more personal-type of competition as you can connect with the members more and see their talents before deciding.

All the videos of the contestants are located below, their order as follows: SoJin, ShiYoon, Youngji, ChaeKyung, SoMin, ChaeWon and YuJi.

Out of all seven of the girls, I would say all of them have some potential for some market that KARA targets. Whether it be South Korea in general, Japan in general, people who dislike the lacking of KARA's vocal talent, people who value dance and more and though many people do not agree, I would say that all of them would have not been picked if DSP did not recognize their qualities.

Before I start analyzing the girls, I want to note how I feel as if this program and member addition is somewhat betraying the fans... that they have left. I mean, let's be honest here. Their first member change in which they added Hara definitely wasn't as detrimental since:

1) KARA was considered a new group in my standards, anyway.
2) The member change wasn't completely detrimental as Hara did a lot for the group's popularity.
3) The member change wasn't exploited as much as this one

However, with the group nearly a decade in the run and on fast decline, having two girls added to the group is somewhat like pulling a Wonder Girls' and adding Hyerim only to have her be there for a tiny bit of time until Sunye took her hiatus and SoHee got the hell out of that sinking ship. Likewise, unlike what the other commentors are shouting about: "make these girls into a group themselves and don't add them to KARA!", I have no doubts that DSP has considered that however, the line-up, just from my eyes, didn't exactly work and they still had one ship still afloat, KARA, to at least attempt to mend onto before giving up.

Therefore, long story short, I don't like this program however, it seems like it's the only option though the girls added would have a short duration in the group being that KARA is a sinking ship.

I already have your penises trapped in my gaze. Pick me.

In my opinion, the third girl, Youngji, caught my eye. Why? The same reason as everyone else. She's pretty. Let's be honest for a second: KARA is not the group to value talent over visuals and she seems to be impeccable in the visual department. She's even somewhat comparable to the lost member, Jiyoung, in visuals, therefore, I would not doubt if she would be chosen.

The first girl, SoJin, also seems like a doable condidate even though there is a chance that she probably will not get chosen. She seems talented and her visuals aren't lacking that much. In fact, she seems more like a down-to-earth kind of girl who, if she would not win because of her face, could possibly win because of the sob story she delivers on camera or her personality compared to the other girls who seem a bit less...authentic.

Likewise, the following girl as well as the fourth, ShiYoon and ChaeKyung, probably can as well. Their visuals aren't exactly up there with Youngji however, they looks talented and seems as if they can match both the cute and the mature concepts when comparing songs like Honey to Damaged Lady.

I'd doubt if the sixth girl, ChaeWon, aka the girl who looks like she's around eight years old would be chosen. I mean, she'd be great for a Japanese market but next to the other three girls as well as one of the candidates in a group? She'd look extremely out of place. Her immaturity should be delivered in a different group and although her confidence is shown in her walk, I have no other way to say this but she just shouldn't make the cut.

Girl number five, SoMin, seems one of the most out of place. Not only does she look somewhat like an old and less alien version of Hara, but she doesn't seem to be fit to actually be inside the group. She seems to belong to a different kind of group, such as SPICA, or at least if she is vocally talented.

Girl number seven seems like the most out of place. She seems to belong to a group that definitely is not KARA. Do I need explaining? I'm just thinking that if she was to be placed in KARA, she would stand out too much.

-

Lastly, I would just like to note that I feel KARA is reaching their end. The members seem to not have that much else going for them as they are reaching double digits. DSP Media already screwed themselves up by screwing up groups that had potential yet focusing on KARA like Rainbow and now has to suffer the consequences. With this member addition, it seems as if they are realizing that they are on a sinking ship and had made bad choices yet are trying to fix them... even though the problems are somewhat unfixable. In the end, I genuinely wish the candidates the best. They all actually seem to want to want the idol life and maybe have waited years to get it, this, being their last hope. Regardless, even if they won, let's be honest. How long would their fame last?

Not very long.

Kahi confirms the obvious: Bullying is common in girl groups

Kahi, on Beatles' Code, no longer trapped in the bondage that was After School and no longer having to maintain and uphold their image since she is now a solo artist, revealed the unthinkable that is surprising most who are more than naive. If you're skilled in Korean, watch the video below:

Allkpop however, translated it, thankfully, and here is roughly the translation of Kahi's spiel about girl groups, obviously, basing her words off of the After School experience but sincerely talking about the majority of girl groups in general.

Shindong asked [Kahi], "Do outcasts exist in girl groups?"

Kahi replied, "Of course.  There are outcasts and there are those who make a big deal out of various things and are unlucky for everyone else 'unlucky' used in this sense refers to someone that just comes off unlikable due to their actions or attitude to basically mean someone that you feel is bad fortune to you], those who deserve to get hit, and those who need to get their heads on straight.  There are those who really deserve to be treated affectionately, but how can I be affectionate towards those who seem unlucky for others?"

Mir asked, "Even in After School?"  Kahi replied just as honestly, "Yes. Even in After School, there are those members whom you can't help but love, but there are also those who do not have a presence like, 'Oh, she was here?'  At the time, I was the leader and about to graduate After School.  I had mixed emotions and felt pity.  I wrote [that post] when I was feeling that way."

To be honest, it's not that hard to believe. Idols are just as much singers and dancers as they are actors and actresses. They live behind a facade of perfectness and rainbows when in reality, they're probably experiencing the most painful menstrual cramps or they just got in a fight with their mother... they, basically, never have an actual 'perfect' life. And especially being that they are females, females being the worst type of people ever (sorry, feminists, but I'm a female so I kind of have the right to say whatever) and are too emotional and needy and all these other kinds of things, being bottled up with a group of girls in just one room for so long can get a little bit... hectic.

Just take T-ara for example as they took in the Beatles Code episode. Maybe there wasn't bullying going on but there was definitely some sort of ostracizing... even Jiyeon admitted it subtly:

We had been together for over 3 years, so Hwayoung might have had difficulties being with us. She probably had a hard time adjusting... We... made her feel lonely.

I'm not even going to try to cover it up. I will bet my life savings (not really) that it happens in basically every single girl group especially once they start reaching 'sky high' fame. Members start getting pig-headed, jealous, more confident and louder than they used to be... compared to the beginning when they all knew they were in the game together but now as they start beating some levels, they realize the game is easier than they thought and they don't need the back-up, anymore.

There's probably just as much 'bonding' as we see on screen and on camera, but when the camera is off, the girls unlock arms, go on their cell phones and start texting or calling their 'real' friends, hence why many girl group members sometimes talk about their 'best friends' on camera, but when asked about the other members of the girl group they quickly reshape themselves and go with the "THEY'RE MY SISTERS!!!11" act.

Regardless, it's not that hard to tell who's not really the best with their members and who in fact are the more social/interactive ones (take for example, Girls' Generation's Jessica as the least to bond yet Hyoyeon or Sunny is kind of all over the place) but we just have to understand, you know? Not everything is picture perfect and not everyone is going to like each other. It's kind of just how life is and we have to accept it. Plus, they still make great music together so who are we to become infuriated if someone's not as liked as the next?

YG Bought a Useless Round Ticket to YG Land, USA

Fail after fail, these idol companies don't get it. Since out of the womb. the money-hungry fiends called "CEO"s have had their eyes set on the prize: United States of Amurrica, think that antic after antic can set their idol group to the top of the world's largest music market when time and time again, they fail. I mean, there was Oppan Gangnam PSY who seemingly ruled the world to YG Entertainment only to be cut down in despair when he took the same ol' funny, hahaha, "rook et pat ay-zee-ahn boi dawnce!" route with tips on becoming a Gentleman and no one gave two fucks about it. Nonetheless, entertainment companies still won't listen: skyrocketing success in America is nearly impossible to obtain... so why is YG Entertainment building YG Land in the abyss called "United States"?

As said by special YG representatives who have more things to do than sit on their fat ass and blog (me) or sit on their fatter ass and read the blog (you), YG Land will consist of the usual entetainment company blunder: recording studio, dance practice room, people in intimidating suits with intimidating moustaches to rule over all, bathrooms. Just like YG Mother Ship back in good ol, SK.

But why?

Is YG Entertainment planning to pull a JAY. WHY PEE? over here and fuck up 2NE1 while sending Big Bang, WINNER and the rest of their groups downhill? As numerous people already reiterated over and over, Amurricans ain't gonna poot down their guns (I live in the South, y'all), stop eating their McDonald's, and give two fucks about guys in tight clothing dance and sing while not even speaking English correctly. Hell, we barely care about One Direction and they speak sexy, British English, only pre-pubescent "tweens" shitting their pants over Niall and Liam's fanfiction.

So why care for YG's plan in YG Land?

Can you think of a reason? If you can't, you're like 99% of the population today who wish YG'd manage their own artists... before venturing out for more.

CL Offends Muslims... For Doing Absolutely Nothing

After releasing a chart-topping album with the rest of the 2NE1 girls, the charismatic and bombastic leader of one of the top girl groups, CL, has found herself under some pretty boiling waters, if you ask me. Netizens from all over the globe are angrily spewing comments of hatred as if anyone that famous'll read after taking a nice and relaxing dip in all their dough.

CL's solo track, MTBD, which was found in their Crush album and realistically wasn't as bad as The Baddest Female, apparently sparks up some religious controversy (apparent use or mockery to the Qur'an) to listeners which causes them to spit fiery rage all over the Interweb. If you haven't listened to the track and played the little Where's Waldo game to find out where the reference to religion was, you can check it out below.

Now, now. I'm not Muslim. But I listened to the full track. Don't get me wrong, but I didn't hear shit until everyone started hollering and hooting about it and even then, it still took me a while till I actually found out what was happening. The apparent 'reference' to the Muslim's Holy Book seems to me to be something fangirls have delusions over after oppar shoving his hairy cock down their throats. Believe me, I will bet all my jelly beans that that sound (legit! it was a sound. it wasn't a word, a phrase, a sentence... it was mother fucking background music, for fuck's sake) was not meant for mockery, mimicry or mean-y business since I'm pretty sure not even producers made note of the sound. This... outburst is ridiculous. Wishing for the girl to go to hell, angrily raging hateful comments online... death threats just because of something CL didn't even do... aren't some people taking this too far? I'm not saying that this doesn't deserve an apology from YG Entertainment. In fact, I feel like YG Entertainment's best bet to shut some people up would be apologizing and saying that it wasn't meant intentionally. However, I mean, even if it was a fucking word, do you really think she, CL, actually would want to call out a group of people like that who she knows would give her a shit load of hate?

Would she?
My legitimate answer is no especially being that 2NE1 is one of the only groups around who haven't even been hounded by netizens for racism, therefore, culture and holy books would probably be even more rare for them to bring up intentionally.

So why are you calling her out for this simple... happening (wouldn't label it as "mistake", to be honest)?

Why Nine Muses' Constant Member Change isn't Good for Anyone

If I asked you right now to name all of the members of Nine Muses, which line up would you pick? Their original nine, consisting of Jaekyung, Rana, Bini, Sera, Sem, Eunji, Hyemi and Erin and Minha? Their most known nine which rocked during their songs of Dolls, Wild, Prima Donna and Glue consisting of the same, Sem, Sera, Eunji, Erin, Hyemi, Minha, HyunA, Kyungri and Sunga? or their forever-changing, not actually nine going with the name but either eight or seven or two or fifty or a thousand member count consisting of random people who no now the fanbase has to get used to once again?
I'm obviously not a hardcore fan of Nine Muses, but I got to admit--after Dolls, I have been paying attention to them, and now that Lee Sem (not really my favorite member but eh, she'll do for this argument) and Eunji (my baeee~) were officially announced to be leaving the currently establishing group of Nine Muses at the height of their popularity, the news really isn't doing so well for me... and calls for an article calling out the group and the holding company, Star Empire Entertainment.

Eunji I will deeply miss you and your swag. Keep in touch <3

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not trying to tell anyone to be an idol especially after watching the Nine Muses documentary (video will be posted at the bottom) and if the numerous girls who left sporadically have the reason to leave which is what I think, the CEO is a crazy hooligan and they're put into harsh labor, then I will give them the benefit of the doubt. However, the name Nine Muses kind of implies that the group will be, of course, nine girls who were inspired from the same muses from Greek mythology who were known to be intelligent and good at the arts of music and dance and if has deeply pissed me off that half the time Nine Muses has even existed as a group, they never even maintained that nine.

The thing about it is that it kind of prohibits people from staying in the fan base, people who like the group and maybe having a member like Jaekyung, the first off the boat, as a bias will quickly withdraw from liking the group or at least choose a different bias. But that's not one time, that's a continuous happening, not one, not two, but literally nine (the number of girls in Nine Muses, hey!) members have either withdrew, not been in the group for the full duration or took a short hiatus from the group while literally only three members, Sera, Minha and Hyemi gained enough street cred to be called veterans of the three year group (Sera is the most valuable of the cred, though, sorry other two).

Of course, again, not forcing anyone to be an idol and be treated like shit as demonstrated on the documentary, but with the... unreliability of the number count and literally only three girls being around so long, the other two girls who have been around for about the same duration as the two now leaving halfway through the height, it just leaves a relative instability in the fan base like you never know what's going to happen next being that Nine Muses changes almost as often as I eat (and I eat a lot, I'm telling you). With that being said, it hurts the growth of the group and somewhat makes it harder to establish their fan base and have popularity with members who were liked a lot (I liked Eunji a lot, to be honest. Lucky Sera's still left...) and even, liked at all leave is just not good. In fact, you never see any of the top groups like Girls' Generation, 2NE1 and Big Bang leave randomly or have member changes where you have to deal with the addition of a new and random person because it's simply more harmful than it is helpful (I know a lot of people are thinking TVXQ/JYJ. I know a lot of die-hard TV5Q fans who like both groups. There was no member change... it's just two different groups however, all five are still in the limelight) and I really wish Star Empire Entertainment would realize that before they drive their only pushing group into the ditch of irrelevancy.

See how perfect it is as nine? Why is there a constant change in members?!

Finally, I enjoy Nine Muses, but the constant member change isn't really good for anyone. Sure, doing it once is fine, but Nine Muses has been through this member withdrawal/hiatus/addition since debut and only three members out of the twelve members who have participated in the group before stayed for the whole duration. It could be fascinating for fanboys--a great new butt to look at--however, for the rest of the population, Nine Muses undoubtedly would be a stronger group and possibly more popular if they just remained... well, stable.

Write if you think of the member change for Nine Muses was it a good thing, a bad thing or a tiring thing in the comment section below.

Creyawn Pawp's Way iz a betch!!11 Shee pooshed Sawnny!!1

Well, well, well. I always knew Crayon Pop was no good. Plagiarizing concepts, being ilbe bugs, climbing their way to the top with Bar, Bar, Bar which is just alien code for 666... and now, one of the members pushing Girls' Generation's Sunny in the back? How monstrous!...if it actually did happen. Apparently, Crayon Pop is swept into yet another scandal, this time, with their sunbaes Girls' Generation in which one of the members, Way, was accused of pushing Sunny in the back then posing for the camera like the devilish little fiend she is... or at least what people who are almost legally blind think that she is just because of unfortunate timing.
Don't believe me? Watch the video clip that the director should be taken some blame for since the quality obviously sucks for yourself, where clearly Tiffany pulls Sunny a little bit closer since she's blocking the Crayon Pop girls (hence why both Sunny and Tiffany move up), Yoona looks back at around 0:08 in a direction that looks like it's towards Way as a result of the push, but if you have logical thinking, would obviously know that Yoona would have to back up a little bit more in order to see Way clearly and was probably just looking in that direction as a result of the Tiffany-Sunny pull, the pushee, Sunny doesn't even flinch or look back at the pusher and Way moves her hand up to her face which were previously down because obviously, if you want to make aegyo-filled peace signs by your face you have to first move your hands up towards your face.

Clown and goddess .Pshh. crayon pop even if you dont push .you have no rights to stand near our girls

Chrome Entertainment has already spoke up about it however, of course, an entertainment company is always going to defend their money maker in the midst of conflict therefore, I feel like since Sunny now is connected to fans through social networking, she, or SM Entertainment, should clear up it up as soon as possible in order to get this behind netizens.

What's your take on the scandal? Did Crayon Pop's Way push the fuck out of Sunny or was Way just at the wrong place at the wrong time and is innocent?

So... Sooyoung's Dating, Too

Wanting to catch up with Dispatch's great news of catching New Years couple Yoona and Lee Seung Gi on the role, Sports Seoul recently released pictures of Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho on a few dates and different from what they were previously doing which was straight up deny it (Jung Kyung Ho even made unnecessary, somewhat demeaning comments about his girlfriend) now that they have pics, SM has gotta go with it! So, Sooyoung who said she was "lonely" literally just one day before their dating news when discussing the SeuNa relationship and Jung Kyung Ho who jumped through tunnels and walls and originally denied it and called Sooyoung a "non-celebrity" (k-netizens having fun with this insult) are now getting praise from cyber-citizens but also hate for not saying something sooner and lying like rugs about it (the funniest was Sooyoung's lonely story just a day before).

Sure, Jung Kyung Ho didn't want to screw Sooyoung up and Sooyoung didn't want to screw Girls' Generation up, but well, like what most netizens said, no one really cares. I mean, YoonA and Seung Gi? They got praise, praise, praise. They only got "they match each other well" and all those bits and pieces. But let's be honest, Sooyoung matches her guy well but is she even at the level to get as much buzz as YoonA? Not really.

So there shoulda been confessing at the start of rumors... cause instead of her image going down with dating, it's going down with lying.

And yeah, celebrities lie all the time, yadda yadda yadda. But I just wanted to point out that I can understand the opposing view and the hate storm being thrown at 'em right now.

Sorry I'm not being "sugar sweet".

Nevertheless, love this couple. Love Sooyoung. Just wish it was easier to confess. Not to mention, Girls' Generation's dancing line seems to be the first to confess/have relationships. Hyoyeon, YoonA and Sooyoung... is Yuri next? And will Girls' Generation change their name to Women's Generation?

Comment below on your take of the whole SooKyung(?) couple!

Starting of 2014 with YoonA and Lee Seung Gi

Last year on New Years, it was Girls' Generation's I Got a Boy. This year on New Years, it's YoonA's I Got a Boy... and that "boy" is none other than the guy with about a billion Nation's Titles, Lee Seung Gi whom revealed interest in YoonA years ago. Don't believe me? Even YoonA's entertainment company, SM Entertainment, who seems to deny everything or use their power to rid articles around the web that might 'hurt' their artists even accepted the news, this couple being not a pain but a blessing to both YoonA and Lee Seung Gi's image regardless of the idol being in Korea's power group.

PUT AWAY THAT PORN!!1 SM has unlocked their dungeon doors and you can get all the penis your heart desires, Taeyeon.

Even though Hyoyeon technically got the d first (was never confirmed by SM but we all know the truth) from last year, what's great about this news is that not only is it pushing Girls' Generation's "we're not girls anymore" image in ways that are more effective than just shortening their skirts and shorts, but it's also showing to non-idols that shit, all idols are getting older and are human regardless of how much botox they get and to idols that they should start dating whoever they want and make it public (though the trend of revealing relationships started sometime last year) because no one cares about it anymore as long as your happy especially since, let's be honest, YoonA was the last person of SNSD you'd expect saying she was dating someone.

YoonYul was fake so shut the fuck up you damn shippers

In the end, I ship this couple so hard and you should, too. Though most people are on their side I have seen a few YoonA stans shitting their pants as if she was going to turn old and wrinkly before she got some. She's not going to stay 23 forever. And let's face it, you're wasting your time getting pressed.

JYP Debuting New Groups... Is it Worth It?

So as you all should know, JYP Entertainment, better-wise known as Sinking Ship Danger Zone Entertainment has recently released that they will be debuting three groups next year, one group being a 6 member girl group and the other two groups being male groups, one of the groups apparently containing the much loved and full of potential by themselves sub-unit, JJ Project. After the clear disbandment of Wonder Girls, their past pride and joy with Sohee's quick get away from the group and Suzy of Miss A clearly being one of the only reasons JYP is still afloat (JYP released the obvious that Suzy increased JYP's sales by 30%), JYP is now looking for other ways to pick up the loot and get back their position in the Big 3.

But is it worth it?

In my opinion, it's surely worth a try. But in the end, I don't think much will happen if they're trying to regain their position back in the big three. Sure, they could or could not get a considerable amount of popularity in their new groups if comparing with the popularity of current rookie groups but it probably won't be enough. With that kind of management, I doubt they'll be able to replace their old pride and joys Wonder Girls and 2PM in which they threw away so quickly.

EXO rose up with random sasaeng controversies, their album containing Growl and of course, the power of SM Entertainment.
WINNER rose up with their song, the huge promotion and of course, the power of YG Entertainment.

But what will JYP's three new groups have?
Oh right... an unstable and inconstant company to back them up.
One that can't even work with their newest groups and artists, 15&, Baek Ah Yeon and JJ Project even though they had huge potential (especially 15&, with Park Jimin in it, winner of the popular show, K-Pop Star).
One that couldn't even keep control of their previous national girl group, Wonder Girls, before it got thrown away.
One that can't even promote Miss A even though one of their members is one of the most popular females in Korea right now.

Let's see how this turns out.

What do you think of JYP's groups? Love it or hate it?

It's Official: Wonder Girls is Done

Better late than never, Wonder Girls' pride and joy, Sohee, officially packed her bags and took the first boat out of the sinking ship better known as the Wonder Girls. She's always had an eye for acting and never wanted to be an idol like JYP forced her as, anyway, and therefore, pursuing acting, while the other girls including Sunye resigned with the company.
I'm happy for Sohee. I really am. Even with their last Korean comeback song, Like This, which in my honest opinion was loads better than two-thirds of the songs that came out that year, Wonder Girls have never been able to pick themselves up. And with Sunye's unexpected marriage and baby, the barely possible of reviving the group quickly turned to impossible.
Sohee and Wonder Girls had a lot going for them and when Wonder Girls ventured off to the United States, I truly believed they still had a chance until solely Miss A came to the beasts', JYP's, eye and the beauty turned from Sohee to Suzy. Wonder Girls were at the top and JYP sunk them to the bottom with poor management and care and therefore, Sohee who, as mentioned previously, wanted to be a actress all along, realized her as an individual still had time left and did not want to settle for that kind of nonsense.

Whether JYP will be lifted from their reign of idiocy, I really doubt it. They're about to produce a new group although they already have could-be-better groups that need management like Miss A, JJ Project, Sunye and 15& (arguably Baek Ah Yeon). They're already losing themselves with Wonder Girls and 2PM and should focus on the ones they have that are still fresh rather than the ones they have and are already sinking or the ones they're yet to have.

To sum, JYP is the worst company out of them all. They can't manage, they can't decide, they can't prove themselves and seems to be ran by a bunch of hooligans rather than wise minds. Now that Wonder Girls and KARA are coming to their close, it only leaves Girls' Generation and 2NE1 left. And being that their contracts are expiring within the next year or two, this leaves an interesting thought as to who'll be next.

What do you think of the Sohee news? And who do you think will be next to disband? As you know, comment below.
